Where’s our perspective?
It seems to never change
You pave the way of a dissolution
Stop the fallout from spreading with the rain
But the collateral is feeding all the same
They’re feeding all the same
We walk in straight lines
And need a different view
Digging the same mine
Leads to nothing new
We’re falling deeper and deeper
Into the emptiness of space
Would we laugh? Would we fail? Would we conquer?
If we finally changed our ways?
We’ve come so far
So deep down in this mess
We’re judge, jury and executioner of ourselves
Pick up the pieces
And let yourself know
There’s a chance
We’re falling deeper and deeper
Into the emptiness of space
Would we laugh? Would we fail? Would we conquer?
Break the chains of yesterday
And forge a new way
GO
Forge
Forge
Forge
We’re falling deeper and deeper
Into the emptiness of space
Would we laugh? Would we fail? Would we conquer?
If we changed our ways?
Why can’t we understand?
Pick up the hammer
And forge a new day
Forge
Forge
Forge
Forge a new day
Pity that I could not find the deluxe edition with LoG's Laid to Rest. Nevertheless I wanted to add Elegy to my BC collection. It's unique as it is a delightful mix of symphony and deathcore. The vocals are just the perfect "5th element" that allows both styles to intertwine perfectly. Ben Duerr is the perfect vocalist for this role. The Elegy trilogy at the end is just the apotheose of death-gasm, it's a good trip down to memory lane as I've seen S.O.I. live last year! sachavonkarl74
