My mind is turning polar
Now time is standing still
In the middle of this solstice
Eraser of the frozen
Radiate me from within
And melt my broken bones
And just like snow
That falls into the unknown
Hell’s getting colder and colder
And I fear
It’s getting more and more unreal
Like a never-dying cancer
Why won’t you disappear?
Who will fix my colors?
In this nihilistic war
To rise from these ashes
Phoenix of salvation
Could you heal me from within
And mend my broken soul
And just like snow
That falls into the unknown
Hell’s getting colder and colder
And I fear
It’s getting more and more unreal
Like a never-dying cancer
Why won’t you
Why won’t you see
When I fall
Like another one of your pawns
I dream
I hope
But you’re still blocking it all
Like a never-dying cancer
Why won’t you disappear?
I fear
That you will never disappear
And just like snow
That falls into the unknown
Hell’s getting colder and colder
And I fear
It’s getting more and more unreal
Like a never-dying cancer
Why won’t you disappear?
Why won’t you disappear?
Hereafter I scream
I hope
But you are still blocking it all
Like a never-dying cancer
Why won’t you disappear?
Pity that I could not find the deluxe edition with LoG's Laid to Rest. Nevertheless I wanted to add Elegy to my BC collection. It's unique as it is a delightful mix of symphony and deathcore. The vocals are just the perfect "5th element" that allows both styles to intertwine perfectly. Ben Duerr is the perfect vocalist for this role. The Elegy trilogy at the end is just the apotheose of death-gasm, it's a good trip down to memory lane as I've seen S.O.I. live last year! sachavonkarl74
